Max got in the pool for a little while, perched up on Jodie's 9 month pregnant belly. The water was still too cold for his liking. Aunt Jen kept him cool by swimming over and flicking some water on him. The result... very funny facial expressions.
Today the kids were out of school so we took them to the park out in Henderson off College Drive. It had water sprinkler toys. More than the Dinosaur Park had. The hard part was I still had to babysit today, so not only were there my kids, Jennifer's kids and Trevor (Jacob's friend) we also had Alison and Elyse. And Jennifer's friend Cami and her four kids came a little bit later. We picked Jodie up on the way there, so we had extra help.
None of the kids were all that excited about the water, they got wet but they wanted to play on the playground more. We had lunch there (I actually packed a lunch) and then we bought popsicles for everyone from the ice-cream truck parked in the parking lot. How convenient. We stayed there for a few hours and then it was time to go. We dropped Jodie off, stopped at Sonic for a drink and headed home. Darric got off early so he was home when we got there.
It was Wednesday. Jennifer and I went to the Dinosaur Park with the kids. It was hot out there so after they played for a little bit, they got to run through the sprinkler toys. Madison and Mason got wet but Grace didn't really get wet at all. After they had dried off, we (Jennifer) decided we should take the kids to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. We got a pizza and a few tokens so the kids could play (that place isn't cheap).
I gave Max a cracker to snack on and he gagged on it so up came the cracker and the whole bottle he drank earlier. Then a little while later, Madison and Mason came running over to us with Mason yelling that Madi was bleeding. She had a bloody nose. I guess Mason bonked his head into her nose. So we had to clean up that mess. Besides the messes, we had fun and I think the kids did too.
