i got a text from jennifer today that jacob was working a hot dog trailer for his basketball team. she also informed me that there were girl scouts on the other side of the store selling their cookies. i took kenzie and we headed over to support jacob. lucky us... the rest of the family was there too. mom + dad + jodie + matt + jennifer + dave + kids me and kenzie got nachos. and after we ate, we walked over to those girls scouts with my mom and got a couple boxes of cookies.
yes, i am proud of mackenzie for not doing drugs and for joining the DARE program and for trying to get past her fear of officer rico's gun every friday... but i refuse to put the bumper sticker on my car. so, i gave her the honor of sticking it on the fridge in the garage. :)
max and madi have had a little bit of a cough lately. during the day max gets all phlegmy and he blurts out random words just so he could hear his wonky voice. one time he was just breathing in and out real heavy and he sounded like duke purring. he thought that was cool. at night, after he's snuck into our bed, he'll sit up and sniff his nose like crazy. it's stuffed and runny. not a good combination.
madi's cough is a very dramatic cough. it's more like a yell + cough. she is so loud it's making us all a little crazy. darric has asked her to tone it down.
the laundry basket is never empty. even when laundry is folded and put away we still have stray socks, hangers, a winter hat, some gloves, used fabric softener sheets, belts the girls never wear, a shirt that's too small for max and a puppet washcloth.
p.s. i think this used to be jodie's basket a long time ago. some of the straps on the sides are now broken which allows the hangers to poke out. i don't think she's going to be getting it back.
