dropped off kids. it was silly sock day in max's class. it wasn't very easy to find silly socks for max the morning of. the girls had a few pairs, but mostly girly colors. kenzie got her long black volleyball socks and put one on max and put one of his regular socks on the other foot. he thought that was pretty cool.
i ran to wal mart to grab a couple things for a project. went to the gym for only a half hour on the treadmill. came home to try and quietly clean up the house. darric was still sleeping. he got up shortly after. jennifer and jodie came over. i picked up max. we ordered pizza hut. of course, thin crust pepperoni and mushroom has to be ordered. we worked on a project for a blog we get to be guests on. darric went back to work. and before we knew it, it was time to say good bye and go pick up kids.
max was in a super cranky mood. i had to finish the project and get dinner going. i made chicken enchiladas. they were ready just in time for darric when he walked through the door at 5:30 and kenzie and i walked out to go to her open house. not a good idea to go on an empty stomach.we went into the gym... listened to the principal... heard the orchestra, band, choir... watched the cheer team and the dance team... and then got to go to each classroom for ten minutes (with a five minute passing). we got out of there at about 8:30. it was fun though. i'm glad i got to see the teachers that mackenzie spends 5 days a week with.
