+ the three of us girls did some shopping this week. madi's been hanging on to her birthday money/giftcards and was ready to spend them. the first night, we hit up target and madi insisted on getting some dry erase board cleaning spray. along with a new lalaloopsy, a mini lalaloopsy, lip gloss and a puzzle for max. the next night, we went to walmart. she got the other new lalaloopsy doll and 2 of the mini dolls (without the furniture).

+ madi has had a loose tooth in her mouth for a long time now. we've all kinda forgotten about it. but this morning, just before school, it came out. i think she just touched it and it fell out because it was so ready. she was very excited.

+ max didn't go to school today. he wasn't allowed until we had our meeting with the principal. which was at 11:00. darric came with me. we met with the principal, his teacher and the school counselor to discuss fixing his behavior in class. before we went back, his teacher brought him out a puzzle to work on while we all talked. eventually, he was brought in and his teacher explained to him what we were going to do. on our way out to the truck, max said he was about to cry, but he held it back. i think that was when he was in the office waiting, because then he told us "that was great... i want to go back in there right now." he was in such a good mood. i think he was excited about the rewards at school he can earn. hopefully he'll still be excited about them on monday.
