saturday...
madi and i went to old navy and then gap to find her a new swimsuit (found one at gap). then we left and met darric and max across the street at the greek bistro. the food was so good. madi and i left and went back to the mall. i needed to find a shirt. we did a little shopping in bath and body works. they had some sale going on. we looked in several stores with no luck finding a shirt. so we went over to the district and i finally found a shirt in downeast basics. madi ended up getting a necklace and 2 skirts that were on sale for $7 each. we stopped at starbucks and then came home.
that night, me, jennifer and jodie met up with heather and sarah (from whipperberry) and had dinner at the elephant bar while we talked blogs/biggest loser/traveling out of the country and a few other things. i really enjoyed the conversation (and the food too). unfortunately, i had to leave a little early because darric had to go run a call.
i was super energized when i got home, so i picked up the house. then when darric got home, we sat and visited until kenzie called around 11:30 telling us to come pick her up at the school.
she spent the day at disneyland with the orchestra (and the choir too). she had been up since 3:00 this morning, so she was a bit on the loopy side. i think she did more shopping than rides. we sent her with our disney rewards card that had $100 and then $40 cash in case that didn't work. well, she came home with $4 and toys for madi and max, and a candy for each of them too, my favorite cookie, a rice krispy treat for darric, sparkly minnie ears, a mickey head bracelet, part of a BFF necklace (that markela bought for the two of them) and a mickey phone cover. and come to find out, her friend micco bought her dinner (corn dog) because she didn't have enough money. i wanted to kick her butt. ;)
she started out with markela and micco in her group and then the chaperones added more. chase and sydney jenkins, another girl named sydney and jonah. i was so excited to see all of the pictures that she had taken. there were only a few on the camera i sent her with, but luckily a few more on her phone...
