we're buying a house. and it's more stressful than i thought it would be. looking on realtor.com isn't as much fun when you have a $250,000 limit and most of the decent homes in that range have contigent offers on them. we're worried about moving the kids to different schools. sometimes, kenzie is fine with it, sometimes she demands we keep her at silvestri. one day we all sat together at the table to make a list of what was important to us in our search. here's what we all had to say...
(some of the homes we've had our eyes on)
max's list:
fire extinguisher by the kitchen
nice people/not stupid
grass backyard
skulls on his walls + poster of george washington
stairs
bricks on the front of the house
madi's list:

walk in closet (in her room)
own bathroom

grass in backyard/pool
in anthem
wood floors
mackenzie's list:
her own bathroom

pool
2 ovens

darric's list:
bike paths
two story
den/office
balcony/patio
grass in both yards
3 car garage
hard floors in all walkways
my list:
mantel/fireplace
single story
bigger laundry room
bigger bedrooms
would love wood floors and shutters
3 car garage
starbucks + target close by
lots of windows
the house CAN'T have:
guys drinking out of blenders in their driveway (we've seen this before)
major street behind house
garage door opening into the front room
all rocks in the backyard
