I am not a fan of back to school shopping. Main reason... clothes and shoes get more expensive the older the kids get. And the older they get, the more opinionated they get. Kenzie's pretty easy going. She was good with the jeans she already had and her old backpack could get her through another year. If we showed her something we thought was cute, she'd be fine getting it. Madi's style is probably more of what my style was when I was her age. A bit edgy and the opposite of what my mom wanted. Max just wants to wear basketball type shorts so he's comfortable if he decides to run around. He doesn't want jeans or shirts that are too long or baggy.
Max school clothes stats | short size: small | shirt size: small | shoe size: 4
stores we shopped at: Kid's Foot Locker + Nike Factory Store
Madison school clothes stats | pant size: 0 | shirt size: small | shoe size: 8.5/9
stores we shopped at: Downeast, Famous Footwear
(I had to include of picture of her closet that is so jam packed full she didn't have room for her new clothes)
Mackenzie school clothes stats | pant size: 6 | shirt size: medium | shoe size: 8.5/9
stores we shopped at: Downeast, Tilly's, Famous Footwear
(We also bought a shirt from Kohls but we have to take it back because she saw another girl on the first day of school wearing it)
Instead of keeping these receipts, I figured I'd take pictures so we could remember how much these items cost in 2016.
