FLIPPING OUT AGAIN
It's been awhile since Max has jumped on the trampoline. I'm sure it has to do with the summer heat. For the last couple weeks, he's been going out and working on his flips. He sprays the whole thing down first. Not only does it cool it off, but it makes an even louder thud every time he does one of his high jumps. His new trick... going from a high jump into a back flip landing on his knees and then going right into a front flip. He can land it now.
NOTE I WROTE WHEN MAX WAS IN 5TH GRADE
Waiting for Max after school. There are several parents standing and waiting. Seconds after the bell rings, the parents are met with their children. As I'm watching the slow movement of the people, a body emerges from the crowd and like a flash, he's weaving through the walkers and out the gate and to the car. He waits for those walking by, to open the door and jump in. I ask him how his day was. There's seldom times, he answers with great. Usually something happens towards the end of the day that upsets him. I tell him to brush it off and not let it ruin the rest of his day.
Holy crap, public school is getting expensive. Here is a little break down of fees we've had to pay already...
$60 - Family sport's pass
$20 - Max's chromebook
$20 - Madison's chromebook
$5 - Max's agenda
$20 - Max's PE clothes
$5 - Max's PE lock rental
$40 - Max's STEAM class
$40 - Madison's art class
$40 - Madison's photography class
$18 - the cheapest photo package for Max
$47 - for the 5 books the girls have had to read already (that includes the books from the summer)
Luckily the $400 we were supposed to pay for the girl's volleyball was covered when Dr. Truman's office so kindly purchased a banner and Darric's boss made a donation!!
