June 13th through the 19th
Monday, we came home from San Francisco. Tuesday, Darric took a buffer day and stayed home with the rest of us.
Darric didn't want the girls to go all summer without playing volleyball, so he purchased them open gym passes at the Serve Receive Foundation. Thursday night, they went to their first one from 7:30 to 9:00. The next one was on Saturday from 10:30 to 12:00. Madison's friend, Catherine, went with them to that one.
On Friday, Madison had an ortho appointment and got another reminder to go get her eye tooth procedure done. On our way home, we picked up Five Guys and cronuts from Pink Box. That night, Max and Madison went over to the Melton's for a sleepover. Grace went over there too. The girls made avocado face masks while the boys played on the Xbox.
Saturday we went to the Bertrand's for a Father's Day Pizza party. Jan made a bunch of yummy pizzas to BBQ. And we brought stuff to make ice-cream sundaes. The boys swam for a while in their new pool.
Sunday, at 3:00, all five of us went to my parent's house for a Father's Day get together. We had hamburgers and hot dogs. Corn on the cob and my mom's squash. I made my macaroni and cheese. Kenzie made rolls. Texas Roadhouse type rolls. They were good. Just ask any of the kids, they loved them. There was swimming, visiting and popsicle eating. (For Father's Day, we signed Darric up for the Dollar Shave Club and the kids all signed a card for him.) (Today we gave Quincy her birthday gift... a Disney gift card)
