On the fourth day of Spring Break, I got the kids up by suggesting we go get a waffle from the Waffle Love truck. We were all ready and out the door just after 10:00. We swung by Starbucks first, although we should have just grabbed waters to go with our very sweet breakfast. The kids all picked the Nutella Love waffles. Strawberries for Max and Madi and bananas for Kenzie. I got the daily special... Caramel and Cream. It was good, just a little too much sweetness for me.
After eating breakfast in the RC Willey parking lot, we drove over to Old Navy and the girls both picked out a swimsuit for Easter. We all got a pair of cheap flip flops and Max scrounged up a quarter so he could get a ball. He thought he tricked the machine when he quickly pulled his quarter back out and a ball came down. But then when he tried again, it just took his quarter.
We grabbed drinks, ran by the house for a bathroom break and then drove out to the Seven Magic Mountains. It didn't take that long to get out there, maybe 20 minutes. It wasn't too crowded, but we did have to wait every now and then so we could get some pictures without other people in them. It was really windy out. By the time we got back in the car, our legs were all covered with a thin layer of dirt. (short video HERE)
We picked up Chick-fil-a for lunch on our way home. It was our first time visiting one of the new Vegas restaurants. The drive-thru line was interesting with three different people to take our order, take out payment and then to grab the food from a person inside and hand it to us. Whatever works for them. The food was good. I'd probably visit again, mainly for the fries and sauce. But, I think the girls would be happier with Cane's. Darric got home around the time we were finishing up our lunch. He came home for his phone charger but ended up just staying there with us.
