if you like peanut butter cookies and reeses peanut butter cups, then you will HAVE to make these cookies. i found the recipe HERE. the girls and i made these last night. we put the reeses in the freezer for about 10 minutes beforehand to make it easier to get the wrappers off. mackenzie preferred them all warm and gooey. i liked them best today after they had set up nicely.
start with some refrigerated cookie dough (peanut butter cookie) and cut them into 1 to 1 1/4 inch slices. i did 1 1/4 inches, next time i'll cut them smaller.
place them into a greased mini muffin pan. (like the one i purchased at target the other night). bake at 350 degrees for about 6 - 8 minutes.
make sure you have the reeses pb cups all ready.
as soon as they come out of the oven push the pb cups into the centers of each cookie.
yesterday madison stayed home from school. i think she was a little sick. but, mostly, she wanted to stay home and play with all of her new presents. after we picked mackenzie up from yoga we drove by the library to drop off the books that were due back that day. when we got home, i realized max had been looking at one of the books in the back seat and it was still there.
this morning we took both girls to school. at 9:00, max and i met jodie at ihop for some free pancakes. well we got free pancakes for quincy and max to share, jodie and i chose to have some "vive la french toast". after our not very free breakfast, we came home and i worked on the valentines for the girl's classes. around 12:00, i got a phone call from the school nurse asking me to come pick up madison, she had a fever. so we went and got her. got to talk to the counselor for a minute. then there was little miss madi sitting in the nurse's office. with backpack, jacket and a birthday gift in her hands. i signed her out and we were on our way back home. (for about an hour and a half, then we had to go pick up kenzie)
